The Poserhöhe
There are two paths leading to the Poserhöhe – one starts behind the hotel Grüner Baum, it is quite a narrow trail which leads up to the Poserhöhe over south facing slopes.
The "lighter" variation starts from the Café Gamskar, through woods and Alm meadows to the Poserhöhe. Once arrived you have a wonderful view over the surrounding mountains, Gastein town and the Helenenburg. Innkeeper "Christl" serves a delicious Kaiserschmarrn, or you may prefer one of her strudels and home made juices.
Should you wish to take a guided tour, you will be expertly introduced to the imposing mountains of the "Hohe Tauern" as well as the local flora and fauna.
