After you have "arrived", let your soul unfold and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, complemented by home made strudel or cake depending on the time of year. During the winter months we serve gorgeous cinnamon pastries, during carnival time our special Krapfen and in summer there will be refreshing fruit cakes or a delightful iced coffee…

You can enjoy all this in one of the comfortable lounges, in the salon where we provide a Bösendorfer piano to be used by our guests, in the library, the winter garden or, during the warm weather months, on the terrace or in the shady garden.

… by the way, there will also be a large selection of international daily newspapers and magazines, and our large selection of over 1000 books to put you in the holiday mood …

… and during this time the kitchen will be busy with the preparations for dinner. Wonderful cuisine awaits you, with daily fresh seasonal and regional products. Anna Maria Pichler and Josefine Steuer have been working together for many years and are an experienced team. They are assisted by Marius Gligor – who has what it takes to become a chef himself …

… from 18.00 onwards, Marita and Siegrid await you in the restaurant, with a daily salad and starters buffet, followed by first class entrees, and accompanied by excellent Austrian wines,
a cool beer or just our superb mineral water from the Gastein valley.

… and because everything was sooooo good, you may wish to finish with a Schnapserl or a small espresso for the digestion.

Our extensive breakfast buffet is available until 10.30. You can start the new day with delicacies from our local farmers, cheeses and butter from their mountain pastures, home baked farmers' bread and home made jams. Or a traditional breakfast of chocolate croissant, butter roll, ham off the bone, cheese, fruit and muesli together with a large selection of delicious breads.
